Graphic Novel - Abstract:
- This image represents the cover of the comic book, "Leo, härte 10," an AIDS education tool. The comic book features a character named Leo, a bird, who doesn't want to play it straight and ends up hanging out with the wrong crowd. Leo engages in some risky behaviors, but leaves the scene when he sees his friends sharing needles, knowing that could spread the AIDS virus. The theme of the book is that although the hype and panic about AIDS may have subsided, it is imperitive to be aware that drug use and exchanging needles is a direct and dangerous way to contract the AIDS virus. The comic book is 21 pages and measures 20 x 8 cm.
