Abstract:
A color postcard featuring a nurse and a wounded soldier on a battlefield at dusk. The soldier in brown uniform is lying on the ground. The nurse is leaning down next to him, propping him up with one arm and pressing a bandage to his wounded head with the other. She is wearing a white apron over her blue uniform, white head scarf and has an arm band with the Red Cross emblem. In the upper left corner is an illustration of Jesus in a flowing robe with a shining cross behind him. On the bottom of the postcard is the following text: "Peace, perfect peace, in this dark world of sin? The blood of Jesus whispers peace within."
