Abstract:
Advertisement for Alcool de Menthe de Ricqlès. Card features a color illustration by Henry Gerbault (1863-1930) of a shepherdess and a few sheep. The shepherdess has a white dress on and is holding a red umbrella and she is walking behind the sheep. The illustration is a visual depiction of the French song, "Il pleut, il pleut, bergère." On the back of the card is an illustration of a bottle of Alcool de Menthe de Ricqlès.
