Abstract:
Advertisement for Alcool de Menthe de Ricqlès. Card features a color illustration of an English physician, Edward Jenner, who was the pioneer of the smallpox vaccine, vaccinating a baby. A family of four is outside of a house. The mother is sitting on a chair with a baby on her lap. The father is standing behind the mother's chair and is watching the doctor vaccinate the baby. A little barefoot girl is standing to the left. On the back are illustrations of 20 medals from different Exposition Universelle.
