Postcard features a color drawing of a sick man sitting in green armchair, wearing a brown coat, grey pants and red slippers, looking chilly. On the floor next to him is a bucket of hot water with steam rising out of it. He is facing an exasperated looking nurse, who is leaning from behind a table, offering him a pill on a spoon. The table is covered with medicine bottles, jars and a small kettle on a burner, steaming. On the bottom right corner of the postcard is a limerick.
