In this illustrated postcard, a nurse tends to a soldier who in turn is handing her a flower. The nurse wears a long white uniform and long veil with a red cross on it and a flower tucked into the side. The soldier wears white pajamas with red trim. He is in a neatly made bed with white sheets and pillows. Next to him is a table with a vase of flowers, a book, and a bottle of medicine along with a dish. On the lower shelf is his helmet. There are medical charts on the wall behind him. At the foot of the bed is a red heart with a gold arrow through it. The nurse is bandaging the soldier's left arm, and with this right hand he is offering her a red flower from the vase at his bedside.
