This postcard is a black and white image of Princess Gundelinde of Bavaria working as a nurse. She worked in the privite clinic of King Ludwig III's nephew, Prince Ludwig Ferdinand, M.D., who was the chief of surgery at the Military Hospital of Munich. In this image, Princess Gundelinde wears a white nurse's uniform and cap. She is holding roll of bandages. There are medical supplies on a metal cart next to her.
