In sacred memory of nurse Edith Cavell: the greatest heroine of the war
Black and white ticket presumably issued to coincide with Edith Cavell's interment at Norwich Cathedral in 1919. Unfolded, on the right side, the ticket erroneously notes the date of Cavell's murder as being August 13th, rather than October 12th. Unfolded, on the left side, is a portrait of Cavell next to a poem. On the back of the ticket is a cross covered by flowers next to the words "thy will be done".
