President Gerald Ford meets with guests in the Cabinet Room at the White House at the signing ceremony for the National Swine Flu Immunization Program on August 12, 1976. The President is shaking hands with Dr. Delano Meriwether, Program Director for the National Influenza Immunization Program, HEW. To the right of the President is Dr. Gareth Green, member of the National Heart and Lung Advisory Council. To the left of the President is Dr. Jospeh Bellanti, Professor of Pediatrics and Microbiology, Georgetown University.
