On the left hand side of the postcard is a color drawing of a young woman in a flowing robe and cape holding a Red Cross flag in her right arm and supporting a wounded soldier on the verge of collapse with her left. On either side of them are flags of foreign nations. Above them is a banner that says Compagnie di sanita, with Swizzera on one end and Italia on the other. On the right hand side of the postcard is a black and white drawing of wounded soldiers in a battle field being carried on strechers toward a large tent with a red Cross flag on it.
