Abstract:
Postcard issued by the government with a stamp preprinted as part of the design. The message in red letters reads: "Male workers and female workers! By becoming a member of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies of the USSR, you will participate in fulfilling the Industrial and Financial Plan." The picture in shades of red shows workers in front of machinery. The small round illustration on the bottom shows a nurse in a white apron with a red cross, bandaging a patient's arm. The Red Cross and Red Crescent emblems appear in the upper left corner.
