The bounty due to men when discharged after two years service will be paid on their final statements by the Pay Department; the powers given to Medical Inspectors to discharge soldiers for disabilities is suspended until they are further defined; Paragraph II, General orders no. 87 of 1863 is modified to allow the Assistant Surgeon General, Medical Inspector General and Medical Inspectors to have the same office room, furniture and fuel as officers in the Quartermaster's Department who have the same rank.
