Abstract:
KEY STATISTICS FOR THE UNDER AGE 65 ESI POPULATION IN 2012. (1) 8.8% were identified as having diabetes in 2012. (2) 0.6% of children (0-18) covered by ESI had diabetes. (3) 11.6% of adults (19-64) covered by ESI had diabetes. (4) 76.6% of individuals with diabetes were ages 45 through 64. (5) 10.0% or more of the study population in the Mid-Atlantic, South Atlantic, and East South Central census divisions had diabetes.
