Abstract:
Repeals sections of acts from 1838 granting three months' extra pay in lieu of bounty to soldiers who re-enlist, and from 1850 granting a bounty equal to transportation from New York to soldiers re-enlisting at distant stations, no bounties to be paid in the future.
