On the left side of the postcard, Goddess Libertas is in a green robe holding a red cross flag. There is a shield with a griffin is in front of her. Behind her there is a circle of the scene of a battlefield, medical tent, and a palm leaf. On the right side, there is a Libertas insignia with 2 griffins holding a shield with a red cross on it and words "Ospedale militare principale di Genova" above. A black and white drawing of the hospital is below the insignia.
