- Envelope featuring a color illustration of Clara Barton caring for a wounded soldier. She is wearing a dark dress with long sleeves and blue cuffs. Over her shoulders she has a dark cloak with a blue lining. She is holding the back of the soldier's head with her left hand and has a canteen in her right hand. There is a gun with an affixed bayonet on the ground beside the soldier. In the background there is a wagon wheel, another wounded soldier, a soldier on horseback, and a group of soldiers who are either standing or marching. At the top right on the envelope is a postage featuring Clara Barton. The cancellation mark is Gettysburg, PA. June 29, 1995. 17325. Civil War classic collection. First day of issue.
