Abstract:
Postcard featuring a color illustration showing the activities of a nurse at two different times in the day. The illustration of 10:00 in the morning shows her when she is on duty as a nurse. She is dressed in a white nurse's uniform, with a red cross on her apron and on her headcloth. She is walking with a wounded soldier, who is holding onto her arm. The soldier is wearing a bluish military uniform and hat, and he has his arm in a sling. They are in front of the infirmary, to the side of which another nurse can be seen at a desk in front of some white tents. The illustration of the nurse at 10:00 in the evening shows her standing in front of a mirror, likely getting ready for some social activity. She is wearing a fancy dark dress with flowers on it, and she is powdering herself with one hand and holding a hand mirror in her other hand. On the shelf at the base of the mirror are various toiletries.
