Abstract:
Postcard featuring a color illustration of a bust portrait of a Japanese Red Cross nurse. She is wearing a dark blue jacket with a Red Cross armband. There is a black & white postal stamp which has the same picture under the color portrait. The portrait of the postcard was recreated from the stamp which had been issued to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Japanese Red Cross Society on May 1, 1952.
