- Postcard featuring a color reproduction of "The mission of mercy: Florence Nightingale receiving the wounded at Scutari" painted by Jerry Barrett in 1857. In the scene, Florence Nightingale is receiving the sick and wounded at the Barracks Hospital in Scutari after the Battle of Inkermann in 1854. One soldier is on the ground and a woman is handing him a drink, surrounded by other wounded soldiers, some natives and some women. Nightingale is standing immediately beneath the window.
