This postcard shows a stained glass window depicting the Sisters of Charity from Mother Seton's Community in Emmitsburg, MD. This order cared for wounded and dying soldiers from the Battle of Gettysburg during the Civil War at St. Francis Xavier Church, which became a hospital for both Union and Confederate soldiers.
