Abstract:
Advertising postcard for the White Angel Jungle, a soup kitchen for the jobless in San Francisco during the Great Depression. Produced as an advertisement to alert the residents of the city to the Jungle's existence and to announce that it was opened under the guidance of nurses. Postcard features a black and white photograph of people lining up for food. There is a picture of a nurse in a oval on the right side of the postard.
