Postcard featuring a color illustration of a bris, a Jewish circumcision. A man is sitting on a table with a white tablecloth. His legs are resting on a chair with a baby on his lap.The mohel is performing the circumcision; the rabbi is standing behind him. There are many people in the room in formal clothes, the men in front and the women behind.The mother is in the back, reclining on a bed with a nurse standing next to her. All are looking towards the baby. There is another table to right of the group, also covered with a white tablecloth, and set for dinner. In the background to the left of the bed is a bookcase and several paintings are on the back wall.
