Abstract:
This postcard is a black and white full-length studio portrait of an American Red Cross nurse. She is standing in the middle of the scene. Her body is turned slightly to the side, but her head is turned to look at the camera. She wears a full-length dark dress with a white collar. She also wears a long white apron and a white cap. The white armband on her left arm reads "American Red Cross" and there is a dark cross in the middle of it. There also is cross on her cap and she wears a pin on her collar. The postcard is addressed to Louise Hoelderlin, who also was a Red Cross nurse.
