Abstract:
Image of two facing pages from Atlas of colored plates, pl. 10. The left page contains text explaining the Italian method of rhinoplasty and the right page shows a colored drawing of a patient enduring the procedure. His head and chest are bandaged, his right arm is hoisted up over his head, and a skin flap from his upper arm is covering his nose area with the expectation that it will eventually get attached to the nose.
