Abstract:
Illustrations in the volume were printed in two colors on textured paper. The figure of the greedy, lustful, deceitful, manipulative doctor presented in The Doctors looks very much like anti-Semitic caricatures of the Jew, which was appearing with increasing frequency in the central European press of the day.
