Abstract:
Until only weeks before his death at age 103, Heidelberger continued to study immunological cross reactions between various micro-organisms. In this article, Heidelberger, Klaus Jann, and Barbara Jann presented their findings on the cross-reactions between Escherichia coli polysaccharide antigens and Salmonella antibodies.
