Abstract:
Mike Gorman, Executive Director of Citizens for the Treatment of High Blood Pressure, wrote to Boland asking him to make sure that research appropriations for VA hypertension research were adequate, and provided background and justifications for this. The letter illustrates the health policy advocacy that both Gorman and Mary Lasker were well known for.
