Abstract:
Congressman Dickey and many other members of Congress wrote HHS Secretary Donna Shalala to object to Harriet Rabb's legal opinion regarding stem cell research and Varmus's decision to explore how NIH can fund it. Senator Don Nickles and several colleagues also sent Secretary Shalala a letter of concern on 2/12/99.
