Letter from Marshall W. Nirenberg to Dennis Flanagan, Scientific American
Contributor(s):
Nirenberg, Marshall W. Scientific American Flanagan, Dennis, 1919-2005
Nirenberg turns down an offer to write a small book on the genetic code for Scientific American. He informs Flanagan that for the previous five years he had "been working on a different kind of coding problem--namely, how neurons are assembled into functional circuits during the development of the nervous system and how neurons encode and decode information."
