Abstract:
Marshall Nirenberg often attended the NRP meetings sponsored by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This draft of a talk he was to give at the meeting is on "the basic concepts of the genetic code." Nirenberg concludes the draft by linking the genetic code discussion with neurobiology, speculating that neurobiology and molecular biology have a great deal to offer each other.
