Abstract:
Nirenberg and the Biochemical Genetics team at NIH worked on neuroreceptor sensitivity in the late 1970s and early 1980s. This article confirms and extends earlier findings with the hormone signaling system cyclic AMP and the insoluble enzyme system adenyl cyclase.
