Abstract:
This is an address that Sabin gave to the annual meeting of the Western Branch of the American Public Health Association in June 1952. She discussed public health concerns such as air and water pollution, and reflected on the lessons learned from recent public health campaigns in Colorado, including the importance of good science, preventive medicine, and cooperation between public health officials and individual physicians.
