Abstract:
In this article, Sabin and her colleagues report on observations of clasmatocytes [now called macrophages] and monocytes. With vital stains, they were able to differentiate the two types of cells, follow their development and activity, and determine that the monocytes consume much less debris than clasmatocytes.
