Abstract:
Burnham, an old friend of McClintock's, wrote to her shortly after she returned from her trip to receive the Nobel Prize. He briefly discussed some recent research on segregation from chain configuration in pearl millet. Attached to this brief letter is a six-page recollection of his fifty-five year association with McClintock.
