This photograph was taken at a scientific symposium held March 27-28, 1980, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the relocation of the Stanford University School of Medicine from San Francisco to the campus in Palo Alto. Crick is seen in conversation with Stanford University biochemist and Nobel laureate Arthur Kornberg.
