Rich here once more defended himself against criticism by Crick and others that in attempting to uncover the molecular structure of transfer RNA--specifically, the phenylalanine transfer RNA of yeast--he had, without proper attribution, drawn on Aaron Klug's recently-developed model of the molecule.
