Abstract:
Watson here congratulated Crick on his election as a fellow of newly-founded Churchill College at Cambridge, an honor Crick disavowed in protest a year later when thirty thousand pounds were given to the college for the construction of a chapel, which Crick opposed as a violation of his atheistic principles.
