Abstract:
In this April 1914 report to the Board of Scientific Directors, Cole outlined the research on pneumonia at the hospital in the previous quarter conducted by Drs. Avery, Alphonse Dochez, H. T. Chickering, and Zacharias. Included are reports of Avery's experiments on producing large quantities of Type I serum and his early collaboration with Dochez.
