These are Anfinsen's opening remarks given at a conference in Mexico City on behalf of the Board of Governors of the Weizmann Institute. In this speech, Anfinsen briefly addressed the relationship between genetic engineering and agriculture. In attendance for this speech was Mexican President Miguel de la Madrid Hurtado.. NOTE: Speech was given in Mexico in March 1984.
