Anfinsen and several other Harvard scientists prepared this study on malarial parasites and the chemical and metabolic observations of infected and normal blood from monkeys. This article briefly reviewed others' work on the metabolic properties of the blood, and briefly reported the development of chemical procedures for growing the malarial parasite in vitro.
