Abstract:
Although A Li was a smart and diligent woman, she was burdened with the care of six children after 9 years of marriage. She cooked for them, washed their clothes, and cared for the sick. She was so exhausted with housework that she could not function well at work. She realized that she made two mistakes: first, she married early at 18, and second, she had no birth control. She and her husband realized that to have a better family life, they should have no more children.
