- Abstract:
- Three small images on the top show how mosquitoes spread malaria. The center image shows a sick girl and a healthy one, with a mosquito between them. The image on the left shows the recently infected girl having her blood drawn by a young female health worker. The image on the right shows her healthy and smiling, taking medicine from a male health worker and a glass of water from a woman, as a follow up treatment. Below the central image is a chart with instructions for taking the medicine. Four images in the lower half of the poster show ways to avoid and exterminate mosquitoes: three men sitting outside at night are wearing long pants and sleeves; a woman is burning incense; another woman is spraying a room with insecticides; two women and a man are destroying mosquitoe breeding grounds.
