Abstract:
In 2008, the Commonwealth Fund and Academy Health launched the State Quality Improvement Institute (SQII) to provide technical assistance for state health care quality improvement efforts.This progress report describes important elements of the technical assistance provided, outlines the efforts of the participating states, and lays the groundwork for revisiting progress at the state level at the end of the State Quality Improvement Institute project.
