The central illustration is of a busy hospital for horses, who are tended to or treated by a group of men. Surrounding the central image are cariacures of indiividual horses and their respective riders. The imprint of the plate appears at the bottom of the page on the side of a two-wheeled buggy pulled by a single horse.
