Abstract:

The bottom photo, "unseen" shows the same man pictured in the top photo being examined in a medical examining room. He is shirtless and lying on his back. He is having his blood pressure taken by a health professional. She is wearing a striped top and an identification badge. The text in the top photo, "scene" is a homophone for "seen." The man living with AIDS can be seen dancing, but unseen while receiving medical care.
