Abstract:
This trading card briefly documents the lives of psychiatrist Emery Hetrick and his life partner Professor Damien Martin. Together they established agencies to provide social services to homosexuals, especially gay youth. Both men died of AIDS; Hetrick in 1987 and Martin in 1991. The cards were distributed in sets, each packet containing one condom and 12 collector's cards of people and topics related to AIDS.
