A young child is standing beside her and both of the children have a skeletal look. The husband is on crutches and is being told to leave by the wife. This represents the man who has syphilis and doesn't get the proper treatment. The right side of the poster shows a couple, standing beside each other, and in good health. The woman is holding a toddler and a young child is standing beside her, both also in apparent good health. This represents the man who has syphilis and gets proper medical attention.
