Abstract:
Nine cartoon blocks show various hospital activities. Labeled as frequent exposure risk are surgery, lab work, a nurse cleaning instruments, and a nurse giving a shot. Labeled as frequent accidental exposure risk are a woman carrying bed linens and a man carrying trash. Labeled as no exposure risk are people together in an elevator, an attendant moving a man on a bed, and a nurse feeding a patient in bed. Below them are four squares which discuss prevention by paying attention, washing hands, disinfecting and sterilizing instruments, and informing superiors of any exposure.
