Abstract:
The obverse of the poster is a colorful collage of sixteen compartments of photographs, paintings, and commercial art. The results in each of the compartments are fanciful scenes that mix and juxtapose media, time periods, and continents. In the lowermost right compartment are the logo, telephone number, and hours of AIDS Linien. On the reverse of the poster are testimonials about the service from volunteers and others whose black and white photographs also appear. The middle of the poster is a clearinghouse of AIDS-related services, hotlines, and organizations in Denmark. Also included is a history of AIDS in Denmark and of AIDS Linien itself.
