Abstract:

The visual shows a photo reproduction of a middle age couple, the man wearing a suit and tie and the woman in a skirt and blouse. The woman is facing the man, one hand resting on his chest and the other behind her back holding a condom packaged in light blue wrapping. The text of the poster emphasizes the importance of using condoms to help prevent HIV infections, AIDS, and other sexually transmitted diseases, as well as cervical cancer and unwanted pregnancy. It points out how easy it is to buy condoms and that regardless of the slang used when referring to condoms, they are one way of showing how much you care about protecting your partner.
